June 2010Monday 6/28 - Summer Youth Series at Sugar Grove - Teens from all over Houston will come to SG as we enjoy worship together. Won by One Pepperdine University's travelling singing group will lead us. Sunday 6/20 - Wednesday 6/23 - Vacation Bible School - "God's Big Picture" is our topic this year and we will have classes for everyone. Come and hear about God's big plan for you! An entertaining musical follows classes. 6:30 - 8:30 pm July 2010Monday 7/12 - Thursday 7/15 - Sweet Pea Day Camp - day camp at the church building for children ages 3 years (potty trained, please) through completed 1st grade. Activities will include "campfire s'mores", arts and crafts, Bible story time and game time. We will "camp" from 9 am - 3 pm. Cost is $50. Download more information and application here.
August 2010Sunday 8/8 - Friday 8/14 - Camp Imani - a camp experience in the Texas hill country for students entering third through sixth grades. Our goal at Camp Imani is to assist children in their faith journey. For more detailed information please call the church office. A camp application is available by clicking here.
Sunday 8/22 - Kindergarten Promotion Celebration - all kindergarten children and their families will celebrate this milestone with a reception with the ministers and elders. Each child will receive a Bible with their name engraved on the cover. |
